The Har-Ber High School music program participated in the 2021 Region 5 All-Region competition and had some amazing results!
HBHS Choral music program had a record 113 students make the All-Region choir. 89 was the previous record and 64 students are eligible to audition for the 2022 Arkansas All-State choir, also a record. 85% of the 130+ students made the choir. There were 4 first chairs from the 8 possible. There will be a clinic at DTSOI on Nov 6th where all the students that made it will come together to make music for the day. This is the first All-region clinic since 2019.

We desperately need your help! Even though all students are being allowed to eat for free again this year, we still need families to complete the free and reduced meal form.
Here’s why: Our district must have at least 70% of our students qualify for free and reduced meals by October 1, 2021, or we will lose up to $8 million dollars in funding next year. This $8 million dollars are the funds used to provide nurses, social workers, and school resource officers for each school.
Right now, we are only at 66%. Will you please help us by completing the application today?
