#SpringdaleFamily it is time to celebrate! Sarah Dennis, a Speech and Language Therapist at Turnbow Elementary, earned a national certificate to treat students with brain injuries.
"The Brain Injury Association of America's Academy of Certified Brain Injury Specialists (ACBIS) is the nation's premier brain injury certification program. Applicants must have 500 hours of currently verifiable direct contact experience with an individual or individuals with brain injury and pass with 80% or higher on the proctored 2-hour certification examination. 10 hours of Continuing Education in the area of brain injury is also required to maintain this certification."
Nine teams of students from DTSOI, HBHS and SHS participated in the Springdale Public Schools Business Pitch Contest today at Har-Ber. The event was offered in collaboration with Entrepreneurship for All Northwest Arkansas. #SpringdaleFamily
