Leslie Orozco joins the Communications Staff.
Leslie Orozco, a graphic designer and professional photographer, has joined the Springdale Public School District Communication staff. She will spearhead the district’s social media initiatives as well as assist in communication through the district’s Spanish language channels as a member of the public relations department.
Born and raised in Rogers, Orozco graduated from Rogers High School before earning a degree in graphic design and photography from Northwest Arkansas Community College. She continued her academic career at John Brown University where she received a bachelor’s degree in graphic design.
After graduating from JBU, Orozco served as a correctional officer in the Benton County Sheriff’s Office before joining a vendor for Sam’s Club as a graphic designer and product photographer. She mastered her photography skills when she took a position at Bedford’s Camera and Video.
Roblee Orthodontics observed Orozco’s work and hired her as records coordinator. She handled graphic design and photography while working on their brand as well during her time there.
“This opportunity is a huge blessing for me,” Orozco said. “I always dreamed of being part of an amazing communications team. I am so excited and grateful to be here and I look forward to producing stories about the lovely people of Springdale Schools. Now more than ever, communications through media will be such an important role to bring the public the information they need.”
We are excited to have Mrs. Orozco join us and we believe her creativity and interpersonal skills will make her a superb addition to our communications team! #THEChoice
