Central Junior High School competitors placed among the top students and teams in the nation June 29 to July 3 at the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America National Leadership Conference in San Diego, Calif.
Eighteen students and eight teams represented Central Junior High School at the conference.

On July 21, 2022, former Springdale High School graduates and Law and Public Academy Completers, Daniela Flores and Mark Solis, graduated from the Arkansas Law Enforcement Training Academy and will be working as officers with the Springdale Police Department once they complete their field training. Featured event speakers included veteran University of Arkansas basketball coach Matt Zimmerman and former University of Arkansas placekicker Kendall Trainor.
